The expanded edition of our Public Finance of Local Governments book has been released as our first publication. In this edition, in addition to recent theoretical discussions on decentralization/fiscal decentralization (first- and second-generation theories), new sections have been added in a practical framework, including performance programs in municipalities, investment programs, work programs, and gender-responsive budgeting.
The local government system changed by Law No. 6360, along with analyses of revenues, expenditures, and borrowing, has been updated. Sections related to participation practices, institutional performance auditing, the Court of Accounts, and external auditing have also been expanded.
