Our Publication Local Government Finance Has Been Published

This edition adds chapters on municipal performance programmes, investment programmes, work programmes and gender-responsive budgeting, alongside recent theoretical debates on decentralisation and fiscal decentralisation, including first- and second-generation theories.

The analysis of the local government system reshaped by Law No. 6360, as well as revenues, expenditure and borrowing, has been updated. The sections on participation and its practical applications, institutional performance auditing, the Turkish Court of Accounts and external auditing have also been expanded.
