The heading of Article 6, entitled “Equalisation Allowance”, in Law No. 5779 on Allocating Shares of General Budget Tax Revenues to Special Provincial Administrations and Municipalities has been amended.
Legislation providing budgetary assistance to municipalities has been enacted.
51% of İller Bankası’s net profit may be made available to local governments without applying population or infrastructure sector criteria.
